Fall Intramural Program
Early Registration Discount- Register by June 15th for $100 (save $15)
No Registrations will be accepted after August 15th
The fall season typically begins the beginning to middle of August and runs through the middle of November. All teams will be small for more individualized training and development for each player. Each game will be small sided (4v4, 6v6, or 8v8) for age groups U6 thru U12 to further impact the ball skills of each player in game situations.
Games and practices are held at Middletown Community Park and Maple Point Middle School in Langhorne, PA - Middletown Township.
The 2016 Fall Soccer Program will include the following:
Weekly professional training by professional trainers for all members of LNUSC and continued coach education to reinforce the player training and further player development.
Complete uniforms for all in-house players (soccer jersey, shorts, and socks).
Coach and parent education programs to teach the game of soccer and enforce the focus on development.
Special end of season events such as select team tournament, coaches’ soccer game, all-star games for U6 and U8 Divisions, and playoffs/round-robin tournaments for older divisions.
Player evaluations prior to game play to create balance and competitive team rosters. In order to improve the competitive balance of teams in every age group, we can no longer guarantee that we can honor requests for coaches or friends. Absolutely no requests will be considered after the Fall registration deadline.
LNUSC Travel Program
All Registrations received after the July 1st deadline will be charged a $50 late fee ($200 Registration)
The LNUSC travel program is designed to be a competitive soccer program with teams playing in a variety of travel leagues throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, as well as competitive tournament play. Teams are formed by selecting players at open tryouts each spring. The players on travel teams range in age from 8 to 18.
Travel soccer teams involve a full year commitment with the primary season in the fall. Many teams practice and play throughout the summer, fall and spring, with teams practicing indoors during the winter. Weekend tournaments, outdoor and indoor, are part of team and player development. In the fall, the boys and girls teams play in the Inter-County Soccer League (ICSL) and some girls teams play in the Philadelphia Area Girls Soccer league (PAGS), with games primarily in the Chester, Montgomery Philadelphia, and Bucks County area.
Player fees are derived from a budget prepared for each team. Travel parents are encouraged to understand the annual team budget before making the full year commitment. Teams may have different costs due to tournament play and league fees. Player costs can differ from team to team depending on the age group, number of players on the team, number of tournaments, and team fund raising.
