2017 Fall Intramural Program
The fall season opening day is scheduled to begin September 9th, 2017.
All teams will be small for more individualized training and development for each player. Each game will be small sided (4v4, 6v6, or 8v8) for age groups U6 thru U12 to further impact the ball skills of each player in game situations. The rosters and games will be adjusted as needed based on registered players in each age group.
Games and practices will be held at Middletown Community Park, Maple Point Middle School and Core Creek Park.
The 2017 Fall Soccer Program will include the following:
- Weekly professional training by professional trainers for all U10 and younger players and continued coach education to reinforce the player training and further player development.
- Complete uniforms for all in-house players (soccer jersey, shorts, and socks).
- Coach and parent education programs to teach the game of soccer and enforce the focus on development.
- Special end of season events such as select team tournament, coaches’ soccer game, all-star games for U6 and U8 Divisions, and playoffs/round-robin tournaments for older divisions. Dates will be determined during the fall season.
- Player evaluations prior to game play to create balance and competitive team rosters. In order to improve the competitive balance of teams in every age group, we can no longer guarantee that we can honor requests for coaches or friends. Absolutely no requests will be considered after the fall registration process.

Squirts U6 (born 2012, 2013)- The Squirts U6 program focuses on basic skills and development through lots of fun games. It consists of one 45 minute training each week with professional trainers -- a second training may be offered by the team coach -- and fun spirited games each Saturday run by parent coaches.
Juniors U8/10 (2008-2011)- Children in these age groups participate in our internal intramural league which involves a weekly practice with a parent coach and weekly training with a professional trainer. Games are scheduled on Saturdays. Occasional games may be scheduled for Friday nights with other Langhorne Neshaminy United Soccer teams and/or teams from other local clubs. The season consists of eight to ten games depending on the number of registrations, age group and gender of the team.
Joint Intramural League (JIL) U12/U14/16 (2002-2007) - Children in this group will participate in the Joint Intramural League (JIL) which is a league made up of intramural teams from clubs such as Warrington SC, Middletown AA, Solebury, Southampton and Patriot FC. Games will be on Friday, Saturdays or Sundays. This league gives intramural players a chance to play similar teams from nearby clubs. The Fall season typically consists of eight to ten games.

LNUSC Enhanced Development Training 2017
The goal of the Enhanced Development Training Program is to provide an opportunity for enhanced training and player development for players possessing an exceptional level of technical skill or athletic ability within their age/gender bracket. The program will consist of one additional 60 – 90 minute professional training session (Fridays) for players who are seeking additional development and playing challenges above and beyond what is available in the regular intramural season.
Players may have the opportunity to participate in festivals a few weekends throughout the fall season which consist of multiple 5v5 competitive games with other local clubs. Festival play will be determined by availability and timing of scheduled events.
The Enhanced Development Program is available to any player in the U8 age groups, both girls and boys. Trainers and/or coaches may recommend a player for the program however this is not required to attend. The player should possess exceptional technical skills (footwork) at their age in order to be able to actively participate in the training drills.
Eligibility for the Enhanced Development Program is contingent upon active participation in the LNUSC Fall Intramural League.
Cost: $80/child including 6-8 sessions and the opportunity to attend a number of free-play festivals during the season.
Registration will open August 24. The program is expected to begin mid-September and continue through the end of the season.
Please contact the Intramural Director or President with questions regarding the program or fee schedules.
