The Field Coordinator: works closely with the travel and intramural coaches to assign fields for practices and manage the home game schedule

LNUSC is looking for an organized individual to take on the Field Coordinator position. This role, which is seasonal with the busy times being in August/September for the Fall Season and February/March for the Spring season, is focused on compiling the organization’s practice and game schedules for both travel and intramural teams. Below are more details and there is an opportunity to shadow the person leaving this role before assuming the position.

This is a critical position to the Club as it requires organization of 2 schedules both practices and games to ensure each team gets their proper practice times and games are scheduled efficiently for referee attainment.

 

Anticipated hours

  • 1-3 hours per week
  • Attendance at a monthly meeting
  • Once schedules are set there are only periodic requests that occur from game cancellations and rescheduling needs

  • Coaches, LNUSC board/organization representatives, referees

 

Top 3 Qualities

  • Organized, responsive, attention to detail. This person must have the ability to be both flexible and understanding with coaches while also being strict with the schedule to ensure the entire program is organized
